Title: Admissions and Records Clerk (Part Time Regular)
Processes and maintains students' academic records.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Notifies students of transfer credit from previous institutions and posts credits to students' academic record. Coordinates evaluation of transfer credit with Academic Divisions. Processes student requests for transcripts, enrollment verifications, and changes in status. Answers the office phone and assists students at the front desk. Assists at NSCC Graduation Ceremony. May scan department records, process mail, process Change of Major forms and update other documents and account information as directed.
High school diploma or GED
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Associate's degree or other advanced degree
Work experience in an office setting
Prior work experience in higher education, particularly in an office of records or admissions
Experience with Self-Service Banner, Application Navigator Banner or Internet Native Banner
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, students, faculty, staff and prospective students. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to organize work and maintain strong attention to detail. Effective written and oral communication skills

Rate of Pay: $19,897 - $23,874 depending on experience
