Registrar Associate (FT)

Requirements: A bachelor's degree is required. The candidate must have a minimum of two years of customer-service experience, preferably in a higher education environment. Must have excellent communication, customer service and organizational skills. Must be detailed oriented and able to work with diverse populations. Must be self-directed and able to make decisions independently. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of Banner, Banner Document Management, and SharePoint is preferred, but not required. Must maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all situations. Perform other duties as assigned by the Registrar or Assistant Registrar.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Maintains student records and systems with discretion and accuracy in accordance with internal policies and external regulations

  • Enforces university policies, state, county and federal regulations in all related activities.

  • Analyzes workflow processes, proposes solutions and resolves problems/issues

  • Prepares reports, analyzes data, provides recommendations for improved workflow and assures appropriate use of the student services management system.

  • Provides input into the maintenance of the department's online presence, including web pages and forms.

  • Assists with the compilation of handbooks, catalogs, and registration materials.

  • Performs data entry and validation.

  • Assists with transcript fulfillment.

  • Processes document imaging and document flow management

  • Efficiently and effectively utilizes associated reports

  • Promotes teamwork, collaboration, and resource sharing throughout the department and with other departments

  • Addresses student, faculty and staff inquires

  • Provides support on routine office tasks.

    Hours of Employment: Monday – Thursday between 10:00am-6:00pm and Friday- 8:30am-4:30pm. The incumbent must be flexible enough with their hours and schedule to meet the needs of the department and/or the university. Attending graduation ceremonies are required
