Job SummaryThis Admission Counselor is responsible for assisting in the recruitment, evaluation, selection, and enrollment of first-year students. The counselor will interview students and speak with parents, travel to high schools and college fairs in their assigned (domestic, with the possibility of international) territories, work with secondary school counselors, and read and select applicants as a member of the Admission Committee. Preference will be given to candidates able to work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule. Saturday responsibilities will include on-campus programming, virtual programming, travel, and application review.Major Areas of Responsibility
- Bachelor of Arts degree
- Energy and enthusiasm for the value of a Jesuit, liberal arts education
- Valid driver's license
- Preference will be given to candidates able to work a Tuesday-Saturday schedule
- Belief in the value of a Jesuit, Liberal Arts education
- Understands, values, and respects diversity as an individual, in a team, and within groups while fostering an inclusive and supportive environment
- 10% College contribution to the 403(b) Retirement Plan (1 year wait waiver available)
- This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement - upon hire, candidates will need to live within commuting distance
