(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.
Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Supports the Keeping Sights Upward Journey Honors College and KSU by creating, managing, and overseeing all recruitment and admissions functions for honors. Assists recruitment by partnering with undergraduate admissions and academic colleges. Plans and implements all recruitment activities, including honors representation at open houses, honors spotlight tours, and honors cohort interview day. Creates, maintains, and manages all honors applications and review processes. Oversees the honors college website.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Collaborates with undergraduate admissions to implement effective recruitment practices and support initiatives for recruiting traditional first-year students, transfers, international students, and dual-enrollment students into the honors program
2. Plans and executes the 'College of the Month' program with all nine academic colleges to recruit current KSU students into the honors program and create content for overall recruitment efforts
3. Partners with honors communications and marketing specialists to update and maintain The Honors College website
4. Develops and maintains a communications plan for prospective and admitted honors students
5. Manages development, updating, and review of honors applications
6. Collaborates with university departments to develop, lead, and implement recruitment related events, including Honors Spotlight Tours, Cohort Interview Day, and honors specific orientations
7. Collaborates with the honors Program Manager for Student Success and the honors advising team to provide onboarding for new honors students
8. Serves as the primary contact for faculty working with honors cohorts, including the WellStar Tom and Betty Phillips Elite Honors Nursing Cohort, President's Emerging Global Scholars Cohort, Coles Leadership Scholars Cohort, and Honors Ancient and Modern Classics Cohort, to support recruitment, selection, and retention efforts
9. Works with the Dean and other stakeholders to utilize honors scholarships for recruitment
10. Collects and analyzes recruitment and application data, creating dashboards to track progress toward enrollment goals and evaluate recruitment practices
11. Manages the Honors staff and student intern, and coordinates the Honors Ambassador program
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Other Required Qualifications
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license
Required Experience
Seven (7) years of related work experience

An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Proposed Salary

Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite)
