Position Description
Seattle University is seeking detail oriented temporary undergraduate admission application readers to help meet our undergraduate application review goals. Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Recruitment, the ideal candidate will have experience in undergraduate admissions or college counseling, will have familiarity with the Common Application and holistic application review.
Responsibilities
- Review and assess undergraduate applications using established criteria and training provided by the Office of Undergraduate Admission.
- Apply a holistic review process that considers academic achievement, personal essays, extracurricular involvement, and recommendations.
- Maintain consistency, confidentiality, and integrity throughout the evaluation process.
- Participate in training and calibration sessions to ensure fair and balanced application reading.
- Meet productivity and accuracy benchmarks within assigned deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- At home computer or laptop with wi-fi access.
- 2 or more years of experience in Undergraduate Admissions or College Counseling.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work 15-20 hours per week.
- Located in Washington State.
- Able to come to Seattle University campus for onboarding and training.
Preferred Qualification
- Familiarity with CRM - preferably Slate CRM.

Compensation at a Glance
Hourly Salary Range: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Seattle University has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, and not based on a candidate's gender or any other protected status.
Hybrid Eligible
This position may be eligible for a hybrid schedule after successful completion of an introductory work period of 3-6 months. This may mean that a hybrid eligible role will begin on-campus initially and then will transition to hybrid format following onboarding and training. Flexible work plans are subject to periodic review and may be changed or terminated at any time for any reason at the university's discretion.
